Bitter Angels is a collection of rapidly-aging (yet eternally young) gamers raised before touch tone phones were all the rage. Many of us were there when the black monolith known as the Atari appeared in homes. Now, having survived many real-life Pitfalls and Frogger-like leaps through a treacherous landscape of family, career and bingo stamps, we are ready to once again anesthetize ourselves with a reasonable dose of WoW.
We were once Resurrected, an “adult” raiding guild committed to raid progression on a realistic schedule that allowed us to still function at work and in the home. We had a history of successful raiding with this philosophy pre-expansion: Molten Core, Zul'Gurub, Onyxia, AQ20.
The changes wrought by Burning Crusade have led us to initially pursue a smaller-scale raiding program. Our philosophy of progress at a minimal price to our real lives remains intact in the Burning Crusade world. We are currently farming Karazahn, and we have the first four bosses in Zul'Aman down.
